Opened at the end of 2020, El Huerto is Los Cabos’ newest farm-to-table dining concept. Located just five minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas, visitors will find a petite, functioning Baja farm that has been meticulously planned, growing dozens of varieties of fruits and vegetables, citrus trees, herbs and spices. Produce grown on-site is directly taken to their adjacent kitchen, where they incorporate every nutrient-rich ingredient into their menu and serve fresh at the restaurant.

Like other farm-to-table restaurants in Los Cabos, El Huerto stands out for its straightforward, organic approach to serving healthy and sustainable food. They have successfully created an open space where both locals and travelers feel equally invited and welcomed in a casual meeting place where families and friends can enjoy. Visitors are encouraged to explore the farm, relax on a hammock swaying underneath the palms, and can even admire their new vineyard.
The open-air restaurant at El Huerto is open from Tuesday through Sunday and currently offers breakfast from 7:00am to 1:00pm and dinner from 5:30pm to 10:00pm. Reservations are highly recommended, so you are sure to secure your space.
Be sure not to miss Saturday mornings when El Huerto hosts an outdoor farmer’s market that offers various vendors selling organic fruits and vegetables, artisans with unique handicrafts from different parts of Mexico, and showcases other local boutique organizations that support the concept of fair trade.
