Del Cabo Events announces the appointment of Juan Grappa as Director of Del Cabo Weddings, the group’s luxury destination wedding planning division.
Grappa brings with him 20 years of experience planning, producing, and designing weddings, special events, and hospitality experiences. Having grown up in a family dedicated to organizing events and celebrations of all shapes and sizes, he developed early on an understanding of the level of thoughtful planning, the fostering of interpersonal relationships, and the operational precision required to create meaningful occasions.
Before joining Del Cabo Events, Grappa built a solid career as a wedding planner and event producer, including his work at González + Helfon, the internationally recognized luxury events firm. This experience allowed him to gain a comprehensive understanding of the planning process—from interpreting a client’s vision and coordinating creative partners to overseeing logistics, production, and the guest experience.
Over the past four years, Grappa has served as Head of Design for Del Cabo Events, Del Cabo Weddings, and Yaya Rentals. From this position, he has overseen the creative development of large-scale corporate events, extraordinary destination weddings, and bespoke celebrations, all while working closely with planning and production teams and collaborating with some of the most prestigious wedding and event planners in the United States.
His experience as Head of Design has added another dimension to an already accomplished background in wedding planning and production, giving him the invaluable ability to connect creative vision with strategic planning, operational execution, and exceptional client service.

As Director of Del Cabo Weddings, Grappa will lead the division’s strategic and creative direction, oversee its planning team, and continue strengthening the personalized experience offered to couples throughout their destination wedding journey. His leadership vision will focus on thoughtful planning, exceptional service, strong industry relationships, and flawlessly executed celebrations.
