Things have changed dramatically for travelers this year, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate the tides of where and who is accepting U.S. travelers. One place that is, and with open arms (socially distancing, of course) is Los Cabos.
There are truly so many great opportunities to find the perfect spot for your long-awaited vacation, extended work stay or long stay.
Many families are deciding to get away from the stress of their daily lives and go south to spend time in the sun, as many schools are opting for home schooling and businesses are transitioning to work-from-home options for the foreseeable future. This is a good time to think of a long stay vacation in Los Cabos.
Some of the most incredible luxury villa retreats and private homes and resorts are to be found in Los Cabos, from the luxury rentals along the white sands of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, to the sanctuary of getting away to the East Cape. Truly, this is an opportunity to take advantage of this time.

Many of the five star resorts are offering premier luxury villa rentals as well, including the beautiful Chileno Bay Resort & Residences which offers large one to four bedroom villa units with luxury daily service. Some of the units have their own private pools, and you have the benefit of your own butler and concierge during your stay. Some other beautiful options include Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort, whose suites are so drop dead gorgeous that you may never want to leave your room, and also the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, that offers incredible oceanfront Presidential suites and private sanctuary homes overlooking Cabo San Lucas and close to all of the amenities.

It makes for a truly unique and customized stay to have access to your personal concierge to be able to take care of your every need, dining reservation and activity.
Los Cabos has implemented some of the strictest health and safety measures of anywhere in the world, they have also enforced a mask mandate that is being heavily monitored for the safety of visitors to the destination and locals alike. Hotels and premium rental homes have to adhere to the perimeters of the health measures in order to welcome guests.
A benefit to visiting and staying in Los Cabos is the access to incredible dining experiences, local organic farms and farm-to-table restaurants that are now offering outside dining and take away dining to enjoy. There is no shortage of great food experiences to enjoy. Access to private chefs to drop breakfast, lunch or dinner off to your home is also a great option.
If you want to experience the destination while relaxing and working from your villa home or resort, there are many options available. The beaches are open to snorkeling at Chileno Bay and Santa Maria beach and Palmilla beach offers incredible opportunities for beach picnics and small family gatherings. And if you venture further along the coast , you will find many options for ATV rides, zip line adventures, mountain biking and just getting off the beaten path.
So, it is your choice, if you decide to enjoy a week or a month or more, you can look forward to an experience in Los Cabos with endless opportunities, budget choices and amenities.
