Los Cabos Luxury Resort to Host Series of Exclusive Dinners with Acclaimed Chef Dominique Crenn in Celebration of the Tenth Anniversary of Three-Michelin-Starred Atelier Crenn
LOS CABOS, Mexico – Montage Los Cabos, a secluded luxury resort perched on the shores of Santa Maria Bay, today announced “Casa Crenn,” a once-in-a-lifetime exclusive culinary series in partnership with America’s only three-Michelin-starred female chef, Dominique Crenn, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Atelier Crenn, the world-renowned restaurant in San Francisco. Featuring top talent from the culinary world, this exciting epicurean event is hosted in collaboration with French Master Chef Xavier Salomon, Executive Chef at Montage Los Cabos, and Mexican-born Chef Patissier Juan Contreras, to prepare a series of exclusive dinners in one of the resort’s signature Casas.
The series kicks off January 21, the ten-year anniversary of Atelier Crenn’s opening, with 12 days of remarkable celebration and culinary surprises. Boasting a sophisticated ten-course menu of Atelier Crenn signature favorites that highlight local Baja producers and flavors, the limited-seating events will provide guests the opportunity to engage in up-close conversation with seasoned Master Chefs accompanied by carefully curated, sommelier-selected wines. Casa Crenn guests will be able to commemorate this memorable experience with a signed copy of the menu, as well as autographed Montage aprons.
Guests of the exclusive Casa Crenn events will be greeted with welcome cocktails where they will share stories with other culinary enthusiasts prior to the dinner seating. Taking place within one of the resort’s exquisite private Casas, this communal, exclusive culinary adventure will only be available to 16 guests per night. The series will conclude on February 6thwith a closing cocktail party where guests can imbibe and lounge among the stunning setting that is Santa Maria Bay.
Chef Crenn is co-owner and chef of the three-Michelin-starred Atelier Crenn in San Francisco and was also nominated by the James Beard foundation as one of the Best Chefs in America in 2018. Chef Contreras has been a partner at the restaurant since 2011 and their unique partnership is the foundation of Atelier Crenn’s success. Integrating the flavors of the Baja Peninsula, where Chef Crenn and Chef Patissier Contreras have traveled extensively, the tasting menu will focus on sustainability while featuring traditional Baja ingredients and techniques.
The Montage Los Cabos Casa Crenn experience will be available at $1,250 USD per person, plus tax and service fees and includes food, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. A portion of ticket sales will support local community groups in need of food and social services. A small group of very unique sponsors joining this special event include Sharecare, Jet Edge and Tequila Clase Azul.
