Sunset Monalisa is one of the most romantic restaurants in Los Cabos, not only because of its majestic sunset views, but also because of its rich history based on the love between Giorgio Battaglia of Florence, Italy, and Cristina Bremer Rodriguez — niece of Mexican president Abelardo Rodriguez — who traveled together to Los Cabos in 1984. The former restaurant, Ristorante Da Giorgio, was built in their honor in 1991.
Giuseppe Napoli, the general manager, says the romance is still felt there until this day. He says many clients mention that watching the sunset while enjoying a delicious meal at Sunset Monalisa is a truly special and memorable moment that they cherish.

What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job as a General Manager is the opportunity to create memorable dining experiences for guests. Being able to oversee the operations, ensure high-quality service, and deliver delicious food brings immense satisfaction – as well as the chance to lead and inspire a team. Being able to mentor and develop staff members, fostering a positive work environment, and seeing them succeed, is incredibly rewarding.
