Here are a few wine-tasting options to consider in Los Cabos:
LOS CABOS
The Wine Cellar is found inside the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal Resort’s Don Manuel restaurant and features a wine collection of 3,500 bottles from leading Mexican wineries.The cellar keeps separate temperatures for red and white varieties to ensure the best flavors for tasting.
Wine Director Jhonatan Adame, who just won the Wine Spectator 2024 Best of Award of Excellence, is expanding the wine collection to five new varieties – two of which will be from Italy, made especially for the resort.
The resort’s Champagne Terraces offer an always-changing collection of 20 distinctive champagnes. You can enjoy these via the three flight tasting, or by the glass, while overlooking the rocky cliff view.

Grand Velas Los Cabos offers a fun Paint & Wine night where you can enjoy a painting class while enjoying a premium wine list and socializing amidst the resort’s panoramic views.
Join the sommelier at Cocina del Mar Bar in Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection Los Cabos daily, from 2pm to 4pm for a chat about the country’s wine history and most important wine-producing regions. You’ll learn everything from microclimates to soil quality while tasting local wines paired with regional food.
At the Sótano Cellar at Humo, in Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, you can sip from a wide selection of wines from around the world. The restaurant is open daily from 6pm to 10:30pm and offers a modern, rustic sótano experience.
TODOS SANTOS
Las Tinajas Winery is located on the Pacific Coast in a town where art galleries abound. Winemakers, Harold Osborne and Paul Magot, specialize in making a diverse selection of wines, including whites: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and white blend: Vermentino & Greco di Tufo; reds: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Nebbiolo, and red blend: Cabernet Sauvignon y Tempranillo; and artesanals: honey, hibiscus, mango and damiana.
The restaurant has been open since last September, and it offers gastronomic pairings from a menu of tapas, and charcuterie boards, with local goat cheese and cold meats.
Also, don’t miss taking a tour of the experimental vineyards and winery, and the 2×1 happy hour every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3pm until 6pm.
